Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier is the founder of Tiferes Bnei Torah: Yeshiva program for working people (TBT) and TheShmuz.com. Rabbi Shafier was a high school Rebbe for more than 15 years, when the Rosh Ha’Yeshiva of Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim, Rav Henach Leibowitz, ZTL, requested that he undertake a very special project; creating an engaging learning program for working people
Following the Rosh Ha’ Yeshiva’s instructions, Rabbi Shafier founded TBT and The Shmuz.com in 2003. The impact of TBT and TheShmuz.com was felt immediately.
Besides the thousands of members of TheShmuz.com, The Shmuz is broadcast on Aish, TorahAnytime, Israel National Radio, and syndicated in more than 15 papers. Each Shmuz is heard by over 10,000 people throughout the world. From Yerushlayim to Sydney and from South Africa to South America, The Shmuz is now bringing Torah and Hashkafah to Jews everywhere.
There are now over 200 Shmuzin and five books in the various Shmuz series.
Rabbi Shafier, a father of six, and grandfather of six, lives in Monsey New York. People across the globe seek his advice on work, family and personal issues.
